Chris Hawn, a seasoned leader in the waste and recycling industry, is the CEO of Machinex Technologies. Since assuming the role in September 2017, he has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and innovation.

He joined Machinex in 2010 as North American sales manager, where he significantly expanded the company’s market presence. In 2016, he was promoted to executive vice president of sales and business development, showcasing his strategic acumen.

Before joining Machinex, Chris worked as director of business development at Vecoplan LLC from April 1999 to January 2010. Prior to that, he served as sales manager for Tex America Recycling Equipment from June 1994 to April 1999, specializing in equipment for post-consumer plastics transformation.

Chris’s contributions to the industry were recognized with the National Waste & Recycling Association Suppliers Distinguished Service Award in 2021. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Appalachian State University.
