With more than 30 years of global leadership experience, David Young serves as vice president of the digital group at Environmental Solutions Group (ESG), a Terex brand. In this role, he oversees the digital profit and loss, leads strategic initiatives across ESG’s digital portfolio and partners with leading artificial intelligence innovators—including Agentic AI—to drive the next generation of intelligent, sustainable technologies for the environmental services industry.

During his tenure at ESG, David has held multiple executive roles spanning operations, aftermarket, sales and continuous improvement, each underscoring his ability to align organizational strategy with customer value. His leadership philosophy blends data-driven insight with a commitment to empowering teams, fostering collaboration and driving innovation across the Terex enterprise.

Before joining ESG, David held key leadership roles within Dover Corp., where he served internationally in Italy as interim president of JK Group and vice president of integrated growth strategies for Dover Engineered Systems. His work focused on integrating global acquisitions, optimizing performance and building cohesive strategies across diverse industrial markets.

David holds an MBA in strategic leadership from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a bachelor’s degree in Japanese studies from Earlham College. Known for his strategic foresight and operational acumen, he continues to advance ESG’s mission of delivering transformative digital solutions that strengthen both customer success and environmental stewardship.
